How long is the burn time of your candles? Our 100g Soy Wax Candle has an average burn time 20-30 hours. The actual burn time may vary depending on how they are used and maintained.
-
How to extinguish candles properly to reduce smoke?Avoid blowing out the candle as it releases smoke. Try these methods to extinguish your candles properly: Use the lid to suffocate the flame. Using a candle snuffer to cut off oxygen and extinguishes it without causing excessive smoke. You can also gently dip the wick into the wax pool with a heat resistant tool or wick dipper then straighten it back up.
-
How to prevent candle "tunnelling"?Candle tunneling happens when a candle burns down the center, leaving a thick ring or 'tunnel' of un-melted wax around the edges. To prevent this, allow the candle to burn at least 2 hours, long enough for the wax to melt evenly and reach the edge of the glass. Before lighting your candle, make sure to trim the wick to around 5-10 mm long to help you to get the clean and even burn from your candles.
-
How to avoid soot while burning my candles? Here are some tips to minimize soot of your candles: Trim the wick before each burn. Avoid burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extended burning can lead to excessive soot. Ensure the candle is placed in an environment free of drafts. Avoid lighting your candles when it is directly exposed to open windows and fans.
-
Why are there wet spots on the surface of my candles?Temperature fluctuations and excessive humidity in the shipping/handling process may cause your candles to melt or sweat. This is a common occurrence with soy wax and does not affect the candle's performance or scent. Gently wipe away the excess oil with a soft cloth or paper towel and store candles in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat sources.

How to adjust the scent intensity of my reed diffuser? To increase fragrance intensity, try flipping the reeds more frequently or adding a few more reeds to the diffuser. You can also place the diffuser in an area with good air circulation as it helps to disperse the fragrance. If you find the scent too overpowering, try placing the diffuser in a cooler and larger area, or removing a few wicks until you reach your desired scent strength.
-
Why is the scent projection of my reed diffuser weaker over time?Over time, the reeds can become saturated with oils and dust can accumulate on them, making it difficult for the scent to travel up the reeds and into the air. Besides, the ends of the reeds exposed to the air can dry out, which can reduce their ability to draw up the fragrance. To solve this issue: - Flipping the reeds regularly can help to saturate them evenly and improve the fragrance distribution. - If the reeds are old or clogged, replacing them with new ones can restore the diffuser's effectiveness. - If you have a larger room or want a stronger scent, you can add more reeds to the diffuser. - Moving the diffuser to a location with better air circulation can help to improve the fragrance distribution.
-
How often do I need to replace the reeds? We recommend replacing the reeds every month. Over time, the reeds can become saturated and less effective at dispersing the fragrance. If you notice the fragrance diminishing, it might be time to swap them out.
-
How long does a reed diffuser typically last?Generally, our 120ml reed diffusers will last anywhere between 3-6 months, depending on factors like room temperature, humidity, and airflow. To maximize the lifespan of your reed diffuser, we recommend placing it in a cool spot away from direct sunlight and areas with strong air currents, or use fewer reeds to slow down the evaporation.
-
Do you provide reed diffuser refills?Unfortunately, we do not provide refill bottles to purchase at the moment.
-
What is the shelf life of reed diffusers? Our reed diffusers have a shelf life of approximately 12 months when unopened and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For optimal scent performance, we recommend using your reed diffuser within 6 months of purchase.
-
How to clean a used reed diffuser bottle?Simply remove the reeds and wash the glass container with warm, soapy water. You can reuse the bottle as decoration or recycle them.
